SACOFA welcomed representatives from Unit Peneraju Agenda Bumiputera (TERAJU) for a courtesy visit and engagement session with the SACOFA Procurement team.
The TERAJU delegation comprised En. Khairil Ikhzan Abd Aziz, Director; En. Mohd Nizam Sarudin, Associate Director; and En. Suriyadi Muhammad Nasir, Executive from the Sarawak Regional Office.
The session was led by Dayang Nooryasmin Abang Ahmad, Head of Procurement, together with Chelvakumar G. Krishnan, Chief Administrative Officer. During the engagement, TERAJU shared an overview of its Business & Entrepreneur Services, programmes and initiatives aimed at supporting the growth and development of Bumiputera businesses and entrepreneurs.
The session also provided an opportunity to explore potential areas of collaboration between SACOFA and TERAJU, particularly in strengthening Bumiputera vendor participation, enhancing supplier capabilities and expanding access to qualified and capable Bumiputera companies across relevant industries.
Potential areas of collaboration discussed included vendor outreach and engagement, capacity and capability development, industry networking and initiatives to enhance vendor readiness in meeting SACOFA's technical, commercial, governance and operational requirements.
SACOFA appreciates the visit and insightful sharing by the TERAJU team and looks forward to exploring opportunities for future collaboration towards building a stronger, more competitive and sustainable Bumiputera vendor ecosystem.
