On 19 August 2026, SACOFA joined a dialogue session with YB Dato Rolland Duat anak Jubin, alongside community leaders from across Julau, including Pemanca, Penghulu, Kapitan and Tuai Rumah, to discuss connectivity challenges affecting communities in the area.
The conversation focused on key telco issues, particularly coverage blind spots and intermittent service, with community representatives sharing the challenges experienced in their respective areas.
The session also explored MCMC's JENDELA 2 initiatives and how ongoing efforts can help address connectivity gaps and improve service reliability for communities across Julau.
Engagements like these bring together local perspectives and ongoing infrastructure efforts, strengthening collaboration among stakeholders towards better and more reliable connectivity for communities across Sarawak.
