SACOFA's Knowledge Sharing session took staff behind the scenes to discover the different structures that make up SACOFA's tower infrastructure.
From the familiar three-legged and four-legged towers to the more distinctive tree and camouflage towers, each structure serves a specific purpose and is designed with technical, environmental and aesthetic considerations in mind.
"Unveiling SACOFA Tower Infrastructure" was presented by Natasha Zureena, Senior Manager, Network Implementation, who gave staff a closer look at the various tower types, their structures and functions, as well as the considerations that shape their design and deployment.
Organised as part of SACOFA's Knowledge Sharing programme by Human Capital, the programme creates opportunities for staff to learn directly from colleagues, broaden their knowledge and better understand the diverse expertise and functions across the organisation.
Beyond the technical insights, it was also a fun reminder that there is much more to a telecommunications tower than meets the eye. What may look like a simple structure from the ground represents careful engineering, thoughtful planning and the infrastructure that makes connectivity possible.
Standing tall across Sarawak, these towers are more than structures. They are part of the infrastructure that keeps communities, businesses and people connected.
